Move[edit]

"Bernard of Toledo" is a better title because "Bernard Cluny" is unusual and smacks of anachronism. "Bernard of Toledo" conforms to Wikipedian style guides. Srnec 15:59, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Besides his name, Bernard de Sedirac, redirects here. --Wetman 21:58, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Synod of León?[edit]

"Urban's intervention at the Synod of León (1091)" passes over my head and probably those of many readers. Can anyone help?--Wetman 21:58, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

From spanish wikipedia[edit]

Bernard de Sedirac a.k.a. Bernardo de Cluny or Bernardo de Toledo (d. 1124 or 1128) was archbishop of Toledo; his sepulchre is in the cathedral of Toledo. Bernard d'Agen, his tomb in the image, was bishop of Sigüenza until his death in 1152.es:Usuario Discusión:LTB —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.125.241.79 (talk) 19:06, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bernard de Sedirac and Bernard de Agen are not the same person.[edit]

Bernard de Sedirac was the first bishop after the conquest of Toledo, and Bernard de Agen was the first bishop of Sigüenza, and was appointed by the former. 80.29.36.70 (talk) 17:19, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
