Beatles

[edit]

He didnt turn them down......The company he worked for did!. (unsigned)

"My Bonnie (Lies Over the Ocean)" and "Ain't She Sweet" may have been recorded with Sheridan, but they were also done by The Beatles without him.Mfwills (talk) 21:26, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TV theme songs

[edit]

Are we sure? I seem to recall "Afrikaan Beat" as being Becker's theme song (which is what prompted me to buy the album). Mfwills (talk) 20:49, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of this song (African Beat) being a famous theme of one of the Netherlands' oldest themeparks, the Efteling. I was surprised not to see African Beat listed as a song of his, even though I see a photo of an album cover here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csKW_7zO_hw 80.101.162.155 (talk) 09:03, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

American?

[edit]

I thought he was an American of German descent. Met him once years ago in Florida & would never have guessed he would be described as a German (only) in any bio. There is absolutely nothing on such things in his personal life story here. His huge American career (in any case) is something you'd have to guess at from this article. Any particular reason for that? SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:13, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How can one dedicate a page to Bert Kaempfert and not mention the 3Swingin' Safari" album ? A huge easy listening success, worldwide. Chircompa 14:44, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alias

[edit]

Why no mention of his alias "Bernd Bertie"?

Just curious. 2600:8800:C89:EA00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 01:43, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
