– The 1954 is currently incorrectly disambiguated, and should be under "(film)" as per WP:NCTV. As there is also a 1943 theatrical film, this will need to be moved to Best Foot Forward (1954 film). Meanwhile, the 1943 film would then be insufficiently disambiguated and will need to be moved to Best Foot Forward (1943 film) as a result. Best Foot Forward (film) should be redirected back to Best Foot Forward as per WP:INCDAB. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:52, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

– Analogous to Naughty Marietta (Max Liebman Presents) and Naughty Marietta (film). Max Liebman Presents was a big budget live TV variety show that frequently showcased abbreviated adaptations of Broadway musicals. Among such adaptations were Naughty Marietta (operetta), Best Foot Forward (musical) and various other titles. Episodes of Max Liebman Presents in no way resembled made-for-TV movies, such as those screened on NBC Monday Night at the Movies or ABC Movie of the Week, but were basically live variety shows, many, but not all, structured as Broadway musicals. Thus, these were episodes of a TV series and should be disambiguated via the name of the series, not as films. In the same manner that there was only one film version, in 1935, of Naughty Marietta (film), the only film version of Best Foot Forward was made in 1943 — Best Foot Forward (film) — and there is no need for the more-detailed qualifier "(1943 film)". —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 01:37, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Episodes should be disambiguation as the nom proposed per WP:NCTV. Gonnym (talk) 10:36, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
