  • Article is new and long enough, and has no major issues, though the tone does teeter on being a bit promotional, especially with phrases like "the first ... in the world" and "advanced technology" in the lead. "Full-length online-dedicated concerts combined with artists-to-audience real-time online interactions" sounds rather like it's repeating the company's promotional description. The article cites the Forbes articles a lot, but they are Forbes contributor articles, and are considered self-published sources. QPQ exempted as the user's first DYK nom. The first suggested hook is too long, and Alt1 and Alt2 sound too promotional (as above, "innovative" and "advanced technology" don't read as neutral). Also, the piping of the subject title in Alt1 and Alt2 also doesn't seem warranted. I'd suggest rewording Alt1 to mention the subject without piping and to remove the excessive adjectives. --Paul_012 (talk) 17:32, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I would like to remove the advertisement tag at the top of the article as there is no specific tag on which part of the article is the concern. As most of article content is sourced from reviews by third party news coverage, I am unsure which section needs a fix. Please specify if you think the tag should stay. --PeaceNT (talk) 01:10, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure? Even the lead is written as full of fluff.
It is known as the first paid concert streaming service in the world that makes use of advanced technology in order to produce full-length online-dedicated concerts combined with artists-to-audience real-time online interactions.
Who really wants to read something written this way? This sentence alone is a major problem along with the entire Background content. Even if its sourced, it's written in such a way to advertise this service rather than provide the reader a meaningful description of what it is. Evaders99 (talk) 01:20, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The lead's purpose is to summarise the article and not to be a detailed description per WP:LEAD. Details are provided in the content of the article as well and all are sourced from third-party. It is subjective to call it an advertisement if there are multiple third-party sources - unless we go on to discuss whether all the sources are advertisements themselves - which is another discussion and a different tag. Please specify which source is an advertisement (note that there are usually multiple from multiple publishers/newsites for each piece of information there) --PeaceNT (talk) 01:28, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The tag is "that is written like an advertisement" - it is. It does not mean that we should not re-write it. We don't need to use every single word from a source to get the point across. None of the source I see even state it is "first paid concert streaming service" - which is an pretty dubious claim in the first place. Evaders99 (talk) 02:31, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As all editors can make changes you may feel free update it to "second"/"third"... or add "less positive" reviews if there are published reliable sources backing newly updated information. The lead consists of facts only and the relevant sources used for such information are stated in the above section from another discussion.
To dispute his fact, you are welcomed to bring up another service/concert of its kind that had existed anywhere in the world before the launch of Beyond Live. --PeaceNT (talk) 02:45, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are no specific parts or sources pointed out for improvement/removal over the past 2 days. I will wait another 2 days before removing the article tags as being too general and not able to provide direction for improvement. Would be happy to address specific concerns in the future if there are specific sentences or references which users find unreliable or promotional. --PeaceNT (talk) 02:30, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
