Observation under DYK hook

[edit]

Hi!Mangoe,

I have copy edited the article as required. I hope it meets with your observations. I probably did the article in a sleepy state of mind. Sorry about it.

I have acted on your review observations. Clarifications on the source references are provided below.

As regards the folk lore, it is surely a local legend but with some links to two articles in Wp namely, Mahabharata, Subhadra and Arjuna. The interlinked article Mahabharata gives details of the dice game and vanvas (exile) under the sections Dice game and Exile and return.

The local legend described in Reference 1 is an authentic source of the Government of India, namely by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), though the English is frayed. I can’t find anything more reliable than that to substantiate the local legend.

The other reference at 2 is also an authentic source maintained by the Mewar rulers and talks of the legend, the fort and the History of Mewar kings, but again the English may be frayed. Again I can't find any better source than this.

The reference of the Hare Krishn.com site was used since the Krishna cult is more popular in Europe and America than India and it cites the published "Krsna Book, by Srila Prabhupada" right at the beginning, and many artciles of the Krishna cult are posted in WP.

I have now added three more references quoting the text about relationship of Krishna, Arjun and Subhadra and elopement of Subhdara to Bhadrajun by Arjun.

I hope the above clarifications would be acceptable to you to clear the DYK hook. Please let me know if I have to do something more. Thanks.--Nvvchar (talk) 18:56, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
