untangle etymology[edit]

this place was named for the Himalayan birch (Betula utilis. However its original name was Khikamakchha , Nepali भोजपत्र bhojpatra), which was found here in large quantities.

I was about to clean up the punctuation, but that's not the only problem. Is Khikamakchha the original name of the district or of the birch? (The bold bit is evidently a later clumsy insertion.) —Tamfang (talk) 06:22, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
