Birthname

[edit]

Besch was not the actress' true surname. That was her stepfather's surname, which she adopted. I don't know if Huber was her mother's maiden name or married name, or if that was Bibi Besch's real surname. If anyone knows, please update (preferably with sourcing). Thanks. Tagged for 4 Years?

[edit]

Face it guys, it's never going to be updated. Drop the pedantic tagging and accept wikipedia is never going to achieve the quality it arrogantly assumes it will. All these tags on articles, especially 4 year old tags make the whole site look like the joke it actually is. 86.141.254.165 (talk) 21:21, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Year of birth

[edit]

I know that originally 1942 was the year of birth then somehow it was determined she was born in 1940. I went with it until I found out her elder sister was born in August 1939, less than six months before Bibi's birth, just like the Hal LeSueur/Joan Crawford conundrum (see Crawford talk page for more details). Also, travel manifests and other ancestry.com records indicate she was born in 1942 and there would be no reason for her parents to lie about her age. I therefore submit respectfully, based on the essential biological impossibility that Bibi was born five months after her elder sister, that 1942 was, in fact, Bibi's correct year of birth.
