Created article[edit]

This article is meant to be expanded and was created to reduce the size of the bibliography sections in the Ulysses S. Grant article. Cmguy777 (talk) 01:38, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Madman Bot tag removed[edit]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because it is a split of a large article, in keeping with similar large families of articles (e.g., Abraham Lincoln and Bibliography of Abraham Lincoln. This was discussed on the Grant talk page, and there certainly should have been notice there before a CSD tag was slapped on this thing. --Coemgenus (talk) 02:02, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... first, this article can be improved and expanded, second although there is duplicate information this was done to keep the standards of the good article status on the Ulysses S. Grant article, third the purpose is to reduce the content in the sources section of the Ulysses S. Grant article. This bibliography article will always contain dupicate information from the Ulysses S. Grant article since some of the bibliography will always be contained in the Ulysses S. Grant article. Second paragraph underlined[edit]

Is there a reason that the second paragraph is underlined? If not, would someone remove the underlining? Maurice Magnus (talk) 12:07, 14 July 2023 (UTC) Perhaps the underlining is caused by {{citation needed span|text= at the beginning of the paragraph. I've never seen that before.
