Ted never claims that it is Cindy's wedding, only that Cindy and her date go on to have a daughter. The identity of the bride and groom are intentionally hidden. 68.73.75.197 (talk) 15:25, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • While it is certainly possible that his comment is in reference to Cindy, it isn't confirmed. --Stevehim (talk) 17:46, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would even go as far as to say it's more than likely NOT Cindy's wedding. Ted and Marshall are both in groomsman tuxes and Lilly is in a bridesmaids dress. Why would any of them be in Cindy's wedding? 68.73.75.197 (talk) 18:41, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that is my fault, I misheard "at the wedding" as "that wedding," "that" referring back to Cindy and her girlfriend. Though, to avoid being gender-normative, they could be groomsmen and bridesmaids, if they became close friends with Cindy. Though it's my understanding that Bilson is not coming back as a guest star.

Continuity[edit]

The continuity section is, IMO, out of control. No statement is referenced, the list is arbitrary, and most of them are not encyclopedic material: numbering the plot points that are developed and continued from previous episodes (or even from the previous one) goes to nowhere.

Which is valid for many HIMYM articles. It seems that we are aiming only at a collection of trivia rather than an ecyclopedic article. I would suggest to try to do something more like the Friends episodes.--RR (talk) 17:48, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
