Merger proposal

[edit]

(Posted in per request of 128.214.79.42) 128.214.79.42 proposes to merge Big Joe (Project Mercury) into Big Joe 1. For the reason, "This article should be merger with Big Joe (Mercury Project) as they are about the same test flight" OkayKenG (talk) 03:28, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the merger. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 22:51, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Bubba73: Sorry, moved your comment here so its under the subheading "Merger proposal". OkayKenG (talk) 03:28, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Bubba73 and OkayKenji: I also concur. There's no need to separate information on a launch vehicle from its sole flight, especially when the articles on the flight and the launch vehicle are essentially stubs. The information in both articles about this flight, and the launch vehicle used to fly it, would be much better presented to readers through a single, well-structured article. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 18:28, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
