Spelling of last name.
[edit]Throughout the history of this article, there have been ongoing edit revisions to how the subject’s last name is spelled: “Cushenbery” or “Cushenberry”. Even apparently reliable external sources differ. Some sources include images of artifacts that indicate that the correct spelling is “Cushenbery” with one “r”. These include:
- Photographs of a business card and the signage on the front of Cushenbery’s shop, in an article on Kustomrama.[1]
- A photograph of an original business card, in an article on a site dedicated to the Surfin’ Bird custom.[2]
- An image of a crest for Cushenbery’s shop on the first page of an article in the January 1966 issue of Popular Customs, a scan of which is available on the page dedicated to the Space Coupe.[3]
Where an external reference uses the incorrect spelling, it has been indicated as having been copied here as originally written.Kumboloi (talk) 15:29, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
