Untitled[edit]

"He was given more than £80,000 sovereigns and diamonds, worth more than £1.75m in today’s money, which he partially buried in peasant villagers." I've corrected it, but I couldn't bear to lose it completely.

On a more serious note, this article is essentially a copyvio (its source is the Sunday Times article linked to at the end, which hasn't been alrered enough to save it). I'm reluctant to lose it, but it urgently needs work. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:33, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've emailed the paper, trying to reach the editor, and ask him about the James Bond connection. I gave them the link to the article. They responded in a friendly (<--click) matter and said they forwarded the email to the editor. I don't expect a reply, but since they didn't complain about the article, I don't think you should, either. But sure, delete it. I mean, that's what you do best :) --Anittas 19:35, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

James bond[edit]

I heard that Ian Fleming modelled James Bond on his brother (and explorer) Peter Fleming (altogether a much better writer). - FrancisTyers 12:35, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here I found that was born in 1910.[1] --Свифт (talk) 11:14, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
