The article as it stands completely lacks references. I say we PROD it as soon as it comes out of protection. Stuartyeates (talk) 12:01, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The Cheetah is a valid entry, but the article needs references added. The car has a reasonably significant place in USA sports car racing history. NealeFamily (talk) 05:55, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

The references to an interview with Bill Thomas are unverified at this stage - I have posted a query about them at User talk:98.71.49.213 to find out if they are valid. NealeFamily (talk) 01:29, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Replaced with better references - some are marginal and if any better ones exist (those that meet WP:RS criteria only) please update. NealeFamily (talk) 03:44, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Gurney flap

[edit]

I note that the phrase "the first hood spoiler was actually a rope that ran across the hood from fender to fender." links to the page on "Gurney flap". I don't think this is accurate. While the rope may indeed have served to disrupt the airflow and counter lift, that does not make it a "Gurney flap". A Gurney flap is very specifically a flap protruding from the trailing edge of an airfoil shape, whether that be a wing or a car body. Having an object disrupt the airflow over the hood is not a Gurney flap, but perhaps a spoiler of some sort..45Colt 01:47, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute about numbers built

[edit]

There seems to be some debate as to how many were built. Please discuss here with the references that back your point of view. If there are two clear sourced views then both will be put in the main article so that the readers can know about them. NealeFamily (talk) 00:07, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

BTM - edits

[edit]

Cody7777 can you explain why you are deleting referenced materail from the article relating to BTM NealeFamily (talk) 05:00, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

CheetahUSA can you also do the same. NealeFamily (talk) 21:02, 27 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rights ownership dispute

[edit]

There appears to be some sort of dispute about the current rights to Cheetah's or their authenticity. Can anyone give me some background on this? The dispute seems to be provoking some problem edits and I would like to ensure the neutrality of this article. NealeFamily (talk) 21:09, 27 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All American

[edit]

Is the use of this phrase in the articles introduction correct usage? NealeFamily (talk) 21:54, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed revision - BTM building Cheetah's again?

[edit]

Can someone fill in the gap between BTM being stopped by legal action and being able to restart building. What happened? NealeFamily (talk) 20:57, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
