Sourcing

[edit]

The sourcing for this article was massively in violation of WP:BLP, including WP:BLPCRIME, WP:BLPSOURCES, WP:BLPPRIMARY, and WP:BLPSOURCES. I have removed all material cited to Websleuths, an online forum, which is a particularly egregious source. I have also removed the material sourced to genealogy sites and Standard Media of Kenya as both are user-provided content sources. There was also a large amount of unsourced material and material that was pre-judging the outcome of the future trial and editorializing (e.g., stating in Wikipedia's voice that the crimes were committed "for selfish reasons" or stating tat he "got away with a fine"). A lot also failed verification as not being in the source cited or was sourced to articles in an theoretically reliable source (the Daily Nation of Kenya) but on closer inspection were the statements of a village gossip. This level of sourcing and gossip mongering may pass for acceptable on social media sites but is not allowed here. The removed material should not be re-added or restored without much more stringent compliance with the standards of Wikipedia policy. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib)

Nigerian?

[edit]

The Article would be improved if it mentioned how he entered the country, why, etc...107.195.106.201 (talk) 03:30, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

John Creuzot (Dallas D.A)is known as progressive prosecutor.

I just found the link from his name on this page redirects to

Murder of Botham Jean#Trial.

I think this is very arbitrary. Also, not related to Billy Chemirmir.

I have been here for 15 years but I have done just over 500 edits. So I am not sure though is this violates NPOV?

I have to learn how to fix hidden arbitrary.
