"Th'all get thy cat bimmy!" from old nautical terms, mean "You will get flogged by me" So Bimmy originally meant "By me." Then the term getting a "Bimmy" developed to mean a flogging, eg - "Man at arms, bimmy this man!" and later mean any type of punishment, such as keel hauling, thrown in the scuppers, dragged from the aft, made to ride high boom,(this expression means that a sailor has to go aloft, and stay there without food drink or sleep until he is allowed to come down). The term Bimmy was not used for walking the plank, hanging, beheading and other executionary methods).
