I used to see him in the early 1990's when I played open-mike nights at "Sun Mountain" (nka "The Baggett Inn") and Cafe Wha' in the Village. I frequently spoke with him, particularly about his material, and I believe a friend and I actually accompanied him with our guitars once. Anyhow, I was thinking of adding something to the article about "Early History" or something like that, but I need to gather some more info from the people I am still in touch with who played those places back then. Plus, I don't live in NYC anymore. I used to record my performances with a micro-cassette recorder and frequently recorded his as well; I'll have to find them. I particularly remember one "song" of his where he spoke about "President Lincoln" watching him while he was having sex with a woman. Great stuff.
