An appeal to provide more details of this notable Indian politician

Hi,

My name is Raunaak Mitra, great grand son of Shri Biren Mitra, I'd like to edit the content and add his achievements as a politician I've been editing, but the edits didn't last long. And the details I'll be providing doesn't come with APA citation or anything as in the older times everything was digital and nobody took an interest in putting in content for his great man.

Can you please help me to do the same?
