Cleaning up this article[edit]

I am making some edits to correc the POV and grammar. Please feel free to comment. Joaquin Murietta 22:51, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just a few points:
  1. Bisher Amin Khalil al-Rawi is refered to as Bisher for short, unless his name is quoted by someone who doesn't know better. Read the Guardian's reports: they almost always get the name right.
  2. Facts should be presented as facts: 'Bisher contends that he was arrested by the..': he must have been arrested, and we've got a good idea who did the arresting -> write 'Bisher was arrested by...'.
  3. Write facts and claims in separate sentences: this makes the division between the two more clear.
  4. It is reasonable to report what Bisher's tribunal said. We've linked to the report, so it seems fair that we report it.
  5. I think major rewrites should be explained.
