What the hell is going on?

K-12 isn't college, and I can't load the school home page. ... --mboverload@ 11:25, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Well Duh

OMG, are you that stupid, look up "College" ON WIKIPEDIA!!!!

according to the dictionary....

college |ˈkälij| noun 1 an educational institution or establishment, in particular • one providing higher education or specialized professional or vocational training : my brother wanted to go to college | I'm at college studying graphic design.
• (within a university) a school offering a general liberal arts curriculum leading only to a bachelor's degree.
• (in Britain) any of a number of independent institutions within certain universities, each having its own teaching staff, students, and buildings.
• Brit. a private secondary school

And as for the webpage - it work FINE!!!

Thanks for the british definition. However, you can't tell me what does and doesn't work for my computer. Please, WP:NPA --mboverload@ 04:45, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism

Due to a high amount of vandalism on this page, i belive it necessary to make this page editable ONLY by people with a login...

Thankyou

Humphreybbear

Please note that this user has used 2 other logins and 5 IPs to do his dirty work. --mboverload@ 09:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Please stop

The information you keep adding in does not belong on Wikipedia. If you have any questions please post them here. Until then, please stop putting the information back in or I will continue to revert it. --mboverload@ 07:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

GO AWAY

WE HATE YOU MBOVERLOAD. GO AWAY. YOUR INPUT IS NOT HELPFUL.

THIS ARTICLE DOES **NOT** CONCERN YOU - IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, YOU DONT EVEN LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND U DONT KNOW WOT THE HELL UR TALKING ABOUT SO RACK OFF.

PENIS - Unsigned

Hmmm. No. I take it upon myself, just like everyone else here, to do what is right for this Encyclopedia. The information you add in does not belong here. Leave that to your school website. Until then, please stop vandalizing the pages. If you would like to provide rational debate, do so below. Calling me a penis isn't going to get you anywhere.--mboverload@ 08:31, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
GRRRR GO AWAY UR SO ANNOYING. IF YOU WANT TO BLOCK SOM1, LOCK THE ARTICLE, I DONT VANDALISE. I ADD USEFUL INFORMATION. THE MAIN AIM OF LISTING THE SCHOOL HERE IS TO BEAT OUR RIVAL SCHOOL John Paul College AND TO HAVE MORE INFORMATION :F:F:F:F:F:F:F:F:F
I am very sorry you feel that way, it's just not what we take here. I'd me more than happy to explain to you why, do you wish me to do so? --mboverload@ 08:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Contact Info and Term Dates

I can see we have a determined, new user attempting to expand on this page. And though he's been rather uncivil, one could argue that things such as the school prayer may deserve a place in the article. But even by the broadest interpretation of policy, the term dates and contact info do not belong here. I think this page needs more discussion, and attention, but I think the removal of those two sections is relatively uncontroversial. Nscheffey 08:54, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree. We don't want articles that are verbatim copies out of school diaries. - Mark 08:56, 6 June 2006 (UTC yes it would be great if i could take my dog out for dinner

Page has been protected

Due to the long-running "content dispute," personal attacks and vandalism I have requested that this page be semiprotected from editing. All I have ever wanted to do is engage in a real discussion but a user has used 3 different logins' and 5 different IPs to attack me and revert the pages against the will of the userbase. I am still more than happy to discuss anything you want to add. Wikipedia is for working together, and if you want to come to the table I'd be more than happy to join you. --mboverload@ 09:42, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

PLEASE DON'T BE SO MEAN

MBOVERLOAD, Y R U BEING SO MEAN!!? ALL WE WANT TO DO IS HAVE A WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE ON OUR OWN SCHOOL AND U WON'T LET US. COULD U PLEASE UNLOCK THIS ARTICLE SO WE CAN EDIT HOW WE WANT TO. AND IT'S NOT JUST 1 PERSON DOING ALL THE REVERTING AND COMMENTING TO YOU, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT STUDENTS EDITING. SO PLEASE UNLOCK THIS ARTICLE AS IT DOESN'T CONCERN U AND ALL WE WANT TO DO IS HAVE OUR OWN ARTICLE.

THANKYOU. (The above unsigned remark was made by IP address 202.59.27.178)

As I have said above, you (and if I believe you, friends) refused to stop and talk. You have an article right now but violations of WP:NPA and WP:NOT and WP:NN and WP:3RR caused the block. I didn't "do" anything to you, an admin felt BOTH of us should sit down and talk. As it says in the protection template, the current version is not an endorsement of that version. I am merely a fellow editor like you. Please sit down and talk about what you would like to add to the article and I'm sure an admin would be happy to unprotect it. --mboverload@ 08:06, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
As a note to that, I protected the article, not mboverload--so yell at me, not him. AmiDaniel (talk) 08:13, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Reasons for page protected status

To the users, registered and anonymous, from Bishop Druit College:

There are numberous reasons for this page now having protected status; not least amongst them are the petty edits libelous edits that have been carried out.

You have mentioned that you only wish to have this page to better a rival college; I suggest you reconsider this stated aim. Please refer to What Wikipedia is not for further guidance on what constitutes suitable material for Wikipedia. Please also consider Wikipedia:Verifiability when posting anything about the school; further do not copy straight from the school prospectus or website.

Please also consider reading Wikipedia's No personal attacks policy befor replying to mboverload again - your remarks in the past have violated this policy.

If we work together, we can achieve a good article about your school. Please look at WikiProject: Schools for information and guidance on writing articles about schools.

If you would like me to help, feel free to ask on my talk page. You can also post constructive remarks here and work with mboverload, myself, and other editors to produce an article of true encyclopedic merit.

I understand

Okay I would like to thank majority of the users that have commented. I think we can work together to make our Wikipedia article for our school great. Some suggestions for possible inclusions in the article are the school houses, some school history/info and subject choices. Hopefully there won't be too many random students that all they want to do is edit the article for evil purposes... is there anyway to make this article editable by honest nice students like me and not annoying mean students?? So I would like to happily contribute to our wikipedia article... hopefully it can progress without being constantly edited by immature students.

I have copied the article into a "sandbox" that is unprotected. This way we can actively work on it without bothering the real wiki. I'm looking forward to your contributions here: Bishop_Druitt_College/newversion --mboverload@ 18:54, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

For those of you who are fair dinkum about producing an article everyone can be proud of, check out Melbourne's Caulfield Grammar School, one of only two featured articles on schools. This will give you template which you can work off. -- Ianblair23 (talk) 04:43, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Article content discussion

I think we should model the article after Caulfield Grammar School which is actually a featured article! As you can see it's not keen on lists or contact information, which is pretty much always leave up to the actual school site. I'll start modeling the intro after it tomorrow maybe --mboverload@ 07:51, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Unprotecting

There has been no discussion for weeks and weeks. Unprotecting. --Tony Sidaway 18:14, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
