Name error, mainly : "Björklunden vid sjön" is not norwegian. the letter ö is (in old norse and modern norwegian, both written forms) never used. the proper norwegian would be : Bjørklunden ved sjøen, i therefore suspect that either this name is swedish, or that it is a error — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.212.136.113 (talkcontribs) 19:10, June 21, 2006

I wonder how far back the mistake goes. The present spelling is used on the official website and in all LU literature. Perhaps the problem comes from well meaning people transcribing both ö and ø as "oe" for Americans during the typewriter days. Since the oe=ö in German was well known in the United States, perhaps an assumption was made that the same held true in Norwegian. -Acjelen 20:24, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Björklunden's own history page believes it to be Norwegian, but the anon is right: it's Swedish. Surely someone in the 82-year history of the place must have mentioned this before us! Pais (talk) 12:39, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
