This article reads exactly like an advertisement-but I can't find the "sounds like an ad" template. DL 13:07, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Follow-up: I added a section on weak points of the device and removed the "advert" tag. Kevin.cohen 06:49, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting claims about capacity for MicroSD cards

[edit]

I've gotten conflicting reports from customer service about the usable capacity of MicroSD cards in this device. One customer service rep told me that the device would hold a 2G card, but that only 1G of its capacity would be usable. Another rep told me that with an OS update, 2G would be usable. It would be good to clarify this. Kevin.cohen 19:26, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Spoke with another customer service rep last night, who said that you shouldn't try to use a card with capacity above 1G. Kevin.cohen 18:35, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2G card working just fine in mine. 1.5G of music loaded for current plane flight. 75.0.123.46 (talk) 21:55, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Service Providers

[edit]

The article says that only T-Mobile has the Pearl. I just got one via Cingular. I will go add that information. Not sure if any other provider offers the service. Bgrainger 12:00, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

T-Mobile in UK offer it too, just about to add it to article; not sure about other UK/European carriers. --hooverbag 09:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems Section

[edit]

Though it was not discussed, I concur with removal of the problems section. [[User;blackberry 8230CDMA handset was reng broblem is not resol plz help ]

Capability comparison table

[edit]

This article could really use a comparison table for the 4 different models, similar to the one at http://www.blackberrypearl.com/performance/specifications2.jsp Peaceduck (talk) 05:07, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More information

[edit]

Hoping to find information on the processor used as well as Blackberry OS Ver for each of the sub-models of the pearl. Would appreciate if anyone that knows could add the info to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.31.192.103 (talk) 16:04, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
