Here are some tasks awaiting attention:
  • Article requests : File:Black Army of Hungary.jpg needs proper source, "Table 1" Type section needs refs
  • Assess : First step is done by Fifelfoo. Still waiting for a B assess, before putting it forward.
  • Photo : "some of the images are almost certainly copyvios OR original research"
    All of the images are from commons (Battlemap of Baia is a candidate): 70+ from death of author ({{PD-old}}) or under GNU Free Documentation License {{CC-BY-SA-2.5}})except one (Pavel Chinezul), which is US-only ({{PD-art}} - I don't know if wiki qualifies for that but it's used in other article as well). The descriptions are taken from the original titles and/or descriptions of the paintings/statues, except for Castle of Salgó, which is taken from the corresponding link in the battles table.     No. It is presented the was they are printed on the book itself (because that's official). You can not search for them on the net or even in libraries in reverse order.     If you're talking about the 3rd footnote, the main link (the book that summarizes it is the first reference at the top of the paragraph (Matthias and the humanism). I just thought that it would be useful for readers, that if I say e.g. [Jan Długosz wrote in his book...], than it'll be appropriate to attach a proper ref to it. But I can transform it into a subsentence and insert it like [in his work called...]. Or would it be more stylish to put it in as a footnote?Lajbi Holla @ me 21:26, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

    Paragraphs are built up of books dealing with the specific topic (the reason that there are fewer references there than in the battles section, since I used one or two books only at the same time writing it). If you were complaining about the quantity of internet resources used (I don't know your intention) : Four printed books were used (3 of them is 500-600 pages wide, 1 is a part of a miniseries), and plenty of Googlebooks (scanned books), which give the other editors an easier access, and an academic map book (largest available in Hungary in the 90s). Web sources are 30% of the article (17 web to 40 book sources is a badly high rate?). Lajbi Holla @ me 11:24, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

    • The Table of Contents is over spaced

    • The lead looks awkward. For one thing, you could add |left to the image syntax. DONE
    • The article needs a lot of refs. WHERE?
    • In the section 'Battles and respective captains of the Black Army', the table header 'Captains in charge' sounds kind of informal. CHANGED
