While it is true that the story line that is published follows the movie presentation, it is not true that this is what the movie is about. Black Moon, each Character, Animal, Vegitation, and Thing is a Symbol and Image representing FRANCE. The Sister is the Classic Spirit, goddess, of FRANCE (sustenance). The Brother is the Republic of FRANCE, who maintains a dying garden (economics) and kills The Eagle (EMPIRE). The Sister and Brother have Naked Children (the Poor of FRANCE) and they fight each other over The Eagle. The Sister nurses and Old Woman (Old France). But, "by accident", a Young Girl arrives (New Spirit; New France), who will nurse the Old Woman, turning her into a Child, and eventually replacing her entirely. The Pigs are Collaborators; The Rats are Profiteers; The Sheep are Followers; The Turkeys are the Silly; the Flowers are the Opposition; The Unicorn is Idealogy, which the New Girl shall nurse. Then, this movie is about pseudo-civil-war between the Old, or Classic, type of Nation being replaced by a New type, which was not planned by the Top Down Power, but which happen "by accident" and leads to a Fertile Garden. Yet, Black Moon ends by asking the question: Will the New Girl (Modern FRANCE) turn into the Old Woman (Empire FRANCE)? This is a Totally UnderRated Movie, because even the French and Intellectuals could not figure out what it was about!

Good analysis but must be from a published magazine or book I think it's from Astrology Metaphors about the Lilith Dark Moon but am still searching for an official analysis or other way to tie it in. Alatari 14:57, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
