"Elliots' Sicklebill" = Blue Bird of Paradise?

[edit]

I have just reversed changes which deleted the Ellis Rowan's image of "Elliot's Sicklebill" which has been identified by User Stavenn as the Blue Bird of Paradise. I wonder if he or she would explain on what grounds they have identified the painting of Ellis Rowan to be one of the Blue Bird of Paradise - and how the Blue Bird of Paradise can be distinguished from Elliot's Sicklebill? Are they now considered to be the same species? Or some sort of hybrid (and if so, of what parentage)? If this can be explained clearly I will be glad to remove the image again - but I believe that, if this identification is sure, the paining should not just be deleted but moved to the Blue Bird of Paradise page. I look forward to clarification of this matter. Sincerely, John Hill (talk) 11:29, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
