Title[edit]
Should this article be re-titled Cork (Northside)? Montenotte and Tivoli are a long way from Blackpool.

People from Blackpool[edit]
Is Danny La Rue connected with Blackpool? I thought he grew up in Horgan's Buildings and the family left for England when he was 6.Durrus 12:03, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- He was definitely from the Barrack St area. I'd also question the inclusion of Christy Ring, who was born in and is more associated with Cloyne. I know he played for Glen Rovers, but did he actually live in Blackpool?195.73.119.90 (talk) 09:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Past tense[edit]
There's a lot of "Blackpool was..." here; is it no longer "a vibrant, close community"? Why not, and what is it now? It feels like I'm reading a history article on a place that no longer exists... - IMSoP (talk) 11:24, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
