Requested move 11 July 2024

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: page moved to Blair Park (Piedmont), but without prejudice to further move discussions. There seems to be agreement that the present move is preferred over the original title, even if it does not end up being the final resting place. It seems like the parenthetical disambiguator is most appropriate, since the topic is not a neighborhood (unlike Blair Park, San Bernardino). Further disambiguating the page to Blair Park (Piedmont, California) seems contrary to WP:TITLEDAB, but can be discussed further. Arbitrarily0 ^(talk) 15:48, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blair Park → Blair Park (Piedmont) – There are other Blair Parks in the state, in larger cities (San Bernardino). This would create less confusion, in my opinion but am open to thoughts. Support, but would suggest Blair Park → Blair Park, Piedmont as analogous to Blair Park, San Bernardino, unless consensus prefers moving Blair Park, San Bernardino → Blair Park (San Bernardino) to match Blair Park (Piedmont). Weak support the Piedmont one has 25 views but the San Bernardino one has 18[[1]] and there are others though they may not be notable. Yes there are currently only 2 uses here though as noted there may be more it seems views are so low that its probably best to assume that there is probably no primary topic. Just a reminder that this article is about an actual park named Blair where as the San Bernardino article is about a neighborhood and not a urban park. The name would be similar to other park articles, see Central Park (Ottawa), Central Park (Winnipeg). Where the San Bernardino article would stay the same as it is similar to other neighborhood articles, see SoHo, Manhattan, Hollywood, Los Angeles, Watts, Los Angeles.
