Untitled[edit]

There is now a Template:Blanchard Valley Conference on the articles of a bunch of villages in Hancock County, Ohio. Since these articles do not even mention the relevant school districts, are these really appropriate places to link or to put this template? Also why pick Rawson and not Mt. Cory for Cory-Rawson? Liberty-Benton should link to Liberty Township or to Benton Ridge, but most definitely not to Findlay (I removed the template and your map is off for LB too). Pandora-Gilboa Local School District, Putnam County, Ohio and Leipsic Local School District, Putnam County, Ohio do exist as articles and should be linked - I will do that next. These could be models for you to make stubs for the other school districts, or at the very least add some mention of the district to the village / township articles. Thanks, Ruhrfisch 17:33, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I put links in to the actual articles that exist, then put in red links to the ones that should exist. Ruhrfisch 17:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have added the namesake village or township after the redlink, or the main community in the district. Ruhrfisch 02:03, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
      • I made stubs for each of the red link school districts so they are red links no more. Ruhrfisch 03:09, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The location of Liberty Benton High School is NOT off, I estimated its location using the 2006 version of the Hancock County Engineer's official county map. Also, the towns were used as links for convenience purposes, but I do appreciate the hard work put into making the pages and template for the league, nicely done. • My apologies - I was thinking the dot for L-B would be the village of Benton Ridge, not the actual location of the high school (which is that close to Findlay). Since the L-B link used to (incorrectly) be to Findlay, I assumed that was why the map dot was just west of Findlay. Thanks for the map, and sorry the confusion, Ruhrfisch 12:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Artcle should be moved to "Blanchard Valley Conference (Ohio)". The OHSAA designation is meaningless to most people, and besides the OHSAA has nothing to do with conferences.EagleFan (talk) 16:45, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
