i'll be adding a lot more to the discography, which is why i split it from the main page - negative1

negative1 has not added any information to the discography since splitting it from the main page, in fact he hasn't contributed anything to Wikipedia since the end of July 2006. So I would request that the page be merged. - memphisto - 10th September 2006.

I think it's reasonable to describe "Feel me" as "Talking Heads influenced". This Amazon review goes so far as to mistake it for a cover of the Heads! Grace Note 05:46, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You would have to say "several reviewers have pointed out that 'Feel Me' was reminiscent of Talking Heads' contemporary work (source)", unless you have e.g. an interview with Blancmange in which they actually state that Feel Me was influenced by Talking Heads. Not 'new wave'

[edit]

To British readers seeing Blancmange referred to here as 'new wave' is baffling. Only in America (where the term means any 80s pop band with a synth) would they be seen as 'new wave'. Blancmange were synth pop; no-one in the UKwas still using 'new wave' for any act by 1982, let alone a synth pop due like Blancmange. Vauxhall1964 (talk) 21:21, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
