Production/Reserve Ratio

[edit]

The number must be wrong. Production of 10.224 Barrels a day, and reserves are 2.5 million barrels? Start of Production: 2007. Production of 10.224 Barrels a day would make already over 300.000 Barrels in 1 month, so after 8-9 months the field would be empty but since production runs already since 2007...and because of the "Peak-Oil"-Curve which first is going up, than peaks and than is going down slowly... a field with 2.5 million would peak at I think maximum of 1.000 Barrels a day with modern technology, and than go down to some hundred barrels a day, like at the beginning. This field is Offshore and far away from Norway and UK, exactly in the middle, onshore fields with such small reserves are being used (with 1 producing oil rig) in countries with low oil reserves, but only onshore and if the infrastructure allows it.
