ÍSome fish and birds are purple. I think the word animal should be changed to mammal, however, aren't some apes purple?

Why does it say that it only lives in South Africa, and then there's pictures of tigers killing blesbok? Didn't know there was tigers in SA.

the tigers were brought into south africa and released on a farm there.. thats why there are pictures of them hunting blesbok.. the idea was to prove that they can be released into wild again..or something like that

The text says bontebok live in the highveld. It is the blesbok that live in the highveld, and eat the short grass. The bontebok eat the much hardier fynbos of the western cape and the desert shrubs of the richtersveld and the kalahari-namib. Bbharim (talk) 00:38, 13 October 2008 (UTC) bbharim[reply]

Strange behaviour of Blesbuck

[edit]

Hi, Please help.......... Why does the Blesbuck always shaking his/her head up and down, especially when walking and standing.? Also when sleeping or resting,it pulls it`s head inwards to the body as if he/she can not breath.? Love to hear your answer. Thanks. Incorrect Photograph

[edit]

I think the photograph of the 'Juvenile Blesboks' is not of blesbok, as can be seen by the black faces. The young blesbok have white faces as do the adults.
