Looked at the site. Good to have references. Pictures and alumni are notable for not being included..... then apply via the schools project page to get a "B" Victuallers 10:02, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Small Peer Review

[edit]
  • The lead isnt good. I was told this: "if you had 30 seconds to summarise the school, what would you say?" - The lead doesnt need to be referenced, except if you say something that could be contraversial
  • The bullet points in "30 years of blind brook" need to be removed, and the section broken into paragraphs that flow.
  • Id prefer to see the references in Cite format, it generally stops alot of errors that may arise. The references at current arrent done properly, cite web and cite book format would make it all correct, and easy for you.
  • "Literary Achievers" may be moved to Notable Alumni. Definately not a history item.
  • I dont think that the bolding in "extracurricular activites" of random stuff is nescessary, it looks cheap and nasty.
  • The list in the athletics section is un-encyclopedic and completely useless.
  • 2006 Varsity Fall Reasons Results is useless and unenclopedic. See Schoolcruft
  • External links and references need two different sections.
  • This article has some quite good stuff in it, but alot of cruft, that needs to be removed. You may wish to look at some GA's: Aquinas College, Perth and Scotch College, Perth - as to what will be required to become GA or even FA. I will check back later on to see how you are doing, and add some more to this (it is very late and i cant think straight). Thanks alot. Twenty Years 15:34, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Blindbrook.png

[edit]

Image:Blindbrook.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Assessment request: (B/low)

[edit]

Nice addition. Giving this a B. To get to GA or higher, please use the proper citation templates. Also, when you use one source more than one do a <ref="citationname"> where "citationname" is unique to the page. Also, find a few more non-primary sources if you can. "Blind Brook's Beginnings" and "30 Years of Blind Brook: 1973-2003" need more in-text citations in my opinion. — Calebrw (talk) 03:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
