Is there some source for the "Penrith Panther" claim, or is that just someone here linking the football club to the phantom cat, because Penrith is adsjacent to the Blue Mountains?

Same goes for the safari park claim. As far as I can recall, Bullens Lion Safari at Wallachia (which is the safari park referred to) had lots of lions, but no panthers. Can someone confirm this? --Gene_poole 01:18, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bullens had two parks in the area. bullens animal world was in wallacia and the african lion safari was in warragamba, adjacent to the warragamba catchment which is wilderness area. The park at warragamba did indeed have several panthers and there were several escapes of animals over the years includes the lions and some of the bears. These animals were all caught or shot after they escaped. 220.235.103.145 01:06, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some helpful sources

[edit]

I've just noticed the edit warring on this article and did some searching and have found some sources.

I'm sure there are more sources out there but most of them are unlikely to be online. Bidgee (talk) 23:36, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
