Conflict of interest[edit]

Ashley Bauman has been Bob Buckhorn's Public Affairs Director since 2015,[2] and two usernames that appear to be connected with her have deleted sections critical of Bob Buckhorn. The two account are Special:Contributions/Ashleybauman and Special:Contributions/COTAshley (COT meaning City of Tampa). Zara Rahim worked in digital and public affairs for Bob Buckhorn in 2013,[3] and the profile Special:Contributions/Zararahim has explicitly stated that she is making edits on behalf of Bob Buckhorn.[4]. It appears Bob Buckhorn is directing his media staff to make edits to his Wikipedia page. This conflict of interest is definitely not allowed. See Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest and Template:Connected contributor. Waters.Justin (talk) 04:13, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like this could also fall under WP:SPA --ZLMedia 17:37, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Waters.Justin and ZLMedia: I'm only concerned with the paid editing bit right now and have told the Ashleybauman account about relevant policies. Ping me if there are any problems. Doug Weller talk 08:22, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Another user started a discussion on this. See [5] An administrator blocked the editor that was section blanking the article, but wrote that the editor can challenge the block. Waters.Justin (talk)
