POV tag[edit]

This concerns POV tag cleanup. Whenever an POV tag is placed, it is necessary to also post a message in the discussion section stating clearly why it is thought the article does not comply with POV guidelines, and suggestions for how to improve it. This permits discussion and consensus among editors. This is a drive-by tag, which is discouraged in WP, and it shall be removed. Future tags should have discussion posted as to why the tag was placed, and how the topic might be improved. Better yet, edit the topic yourself with the improvements. Someone is deleting additions I’ve made to this page even when I include links to references that back up what’s been added[edit]

Although I included a link to an entry in,The ENCYCLOPEDIA of COUNTRY MUSIC compiled by the staff of the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME, an unimpeachable source if there ever was one..that states that Bob Woodruff is a ‘critically acclaimed artist’, somebody immediately re-edited it out for some reason?

Also deleting the addition I made that states another fact about his last album debuting at #1 on the EuroAmericana Radio Airplay Chart in 2013. These things are true facts, but were both immediately deleted by another user even though the source for one addition came from an actual encyclopedia that was compiled and published by The Country Music Hal of Fame in Nashville Tennessee. Page improvements being deleted[edit]

@Magnolia677: ‘Critically acclaimed’ is how Bob Woodruff’s music has been characterized by sources such as The Country Music Encyclopedia, Allmusic Guide, Billboard, The Boston Globe, The Houston Chronicle, The Huffington Post, and dozens of other major newspapers, magazines and sites over the years and is not merely the POV of this editor. It’s a statement that’s been put forth repeatedly by many journalists and authorities on the subject of country music..including the aforementioned encyclopedia compiled and published by what is likely the foremost authority on the subject..The Country Music Hall of Fame.

Also, his latest album, The Year We Tried To Kill The Pain, did in fact debut at #1 on the EuroAmericana Radio Chart soon after it’s release in 2013 ..so I don’t know why you are deleting that information as well?

I’m only trying to improve the page and give, to quote Allmusic, “a wonderful, but mostly overlooked...talented native-New York singer and songwriter.” a bit more of some overdue recognition here on Wikipedia..and with respect, ask you to please refrain from deleting these attempts to do so in the future. Thank you
