In 2018 this mineral was found to be mis-analyzed and does not exist. 2600:1011:B064:5689:A107:1954:5470:5B92 (talk) 23:22, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you can give us a reliable source, then it can be deleted. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 23:47, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
See: McCubbin, F.M. et al. (2018) "Discreditation of bobdownsite and the establishment of criteria for the identification of minerals with essential monofluorophosphate (PO3F2–)", American Mineralogist, volume 103, issue 8, pages 1319–1328, https://doi.org/10.2138/am-2018-6440 . Good, I'll put up the delete proposal. I do suggest adding a very brief mention of bobdownsite at Whitlockite as a discredited minerals species, with redirect, if only to prevent this article being resurrected in the future. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 15:04, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
