Propose wide scale revision

[edit]

This page, similar to Boeing Everett Factory simply takes (verbatim) the articles for the 737 and 757, copies and pastes them here. This adds nothing to the article and reproduces information in a way which is unnecessary. This page should be: about the building, the workforce, the lean production system, location, size, power usage, environmental concerns, accidents, rollouts, ceremonies, construction, expansion, etc. Current production planes should certainly be noted, but not in the manner they currently are. Any other ideas would be welcomed. --ABQCat 18:52, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. In addition, how about a photo of the building itself? -- ShinmaWa(talk) 22:26, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Three years later and the original comment is still valid, we need to prune some of the information on the aircraft which just repeats that in the aircraft article and has nothing to do with the factory. Also noted it has very little information on the actual factory. As nobody has had a tidy for all this time I will just wait a few days for comments before I have a go at improving the article. First 747 landing

[edit]

Is there anyone who knows a lot about this incident? As the NTSB report states, Boeing tried to land the first 747 here for painting, and in the process lost an engine and ended up skidding down the runway. This should be mentioned in this article.TauntingElf (talk) 05:43, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
