Shelbourne

[edit]

The article states that the rivalry started after the demise of Drumcondra. However until 2007 when Shelbourne where relegated they had won 13 titles compared to Bohemians' 9 (now up to 11). They had also won one more FAI Cup. I don't know that much about Dublin football, but I'm just wondering how a North - South rivalry would not be between the two most successful sides. Have Bohs been more popular club despite being less successful than Shels?
