I modified some of the header titles in order to be in accordance with the guidelines established for the WikiProject Diptera, and re-arranged the order. I introduced a new image of the fly's mating. I added additional information to the Food Resources and lead section, and introduced an additional source to resolve a flag that had been picked up over a missing citation in the Description section. I was able to add additional images of B. major to enhance the learning experience of readers. Added on to this, I proofread the entire article and found some duplicated distribution information. Thus, I edited out repeated knowledge and more succinctly summarized it into a heading. Beyond that, your headings were well correlated with your content and the rest of the article was informationally sound. StanTheWu (talk) 20:01, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I went through the article and made changes to grammatical and spelling errors, as well as slightly outdated or unclear word choices. I also added some citations throughout the article and added further taxonomic information regarding the proboscis. I fixed several sentence fragments in the Food Resources section, as well as added an internal link for holometabolism. Overall, the structure and content of your article was well-written.
