"Innaccurate"?
[edit]Is it really correct to say that it is "inaccurate" to refer to the Bardo Thodol as "The Tibetan Book of the Dead". Clearly there are English translations of Tibetan writings that are now regularly referred to as "The Tibetan Book of the Dead", at least one of which is endorsed by the Dalai Lama. It's true that the writings were never referred to as TTBOTD *in Tibet*, but that doesn't mean it is "inaccurate" for westerners to use that title on translations. Those translations literally are called, "The Tibetan Book of the Dead". Thomask0 (talk) 02:25, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
