Hi, I am the writer/director of the film Booked Out and I was adding it into your repository. I don't believe I have added any content that is outwith that provided by other films and looked at other films (science of sleep, amelie, happy go lucky) as examples of what to add. If you need me to change anything then please indicate what changes are required. As I stated on the page... the information provided is the same as exists on the films IMDB page which is essentially factual information. Bookedoutfilm (talk) 10:55, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The issue is conflict of interest. See WP:COI. Generally, people should never, ever make articles about themselves or their products or companies on Wikipedia. It raises serious questions about neutrality and the ability to write an unbiased article. I hope you understand. elektrikSHOOS 11:03, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I read the guidelines and it doesn't state that those involved can't add/edit content but they "take great care to edit to an exceedingly high standard of neutrality." I feel that I have done this and have taken other entries into account to show when creating mine to ensure that the material is neutral. I re-read the content and can't see anything that I would define as promotion of the film within the text. How do we proceed from here? [I also had to change my username as I contravened another of the wikipedia guidelines. Think I am compliant now] Bryanoneil (talk) 12:06, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
