Rewrite[edit]

Please note that the external web site link (the freespace.virgin.net address) is now out of date. The Boothstown web site has been moved to a new server, and you can find the new version of the site at www.Boothstown.com - this site is being refreshed currently. Notable people[edit]

Boothstown is also home to ex-Holby City star Ian Aspinall (character Mubbs Hussain) and Coronation Street's[1] Tyrone Dobbs[2] (Alan Halsall[3]). The Charlatans front man Tim Burgess [4]grew up on Linkfield Drive in Boothstown. Amongst previous residents is former Manchester United footballer Eric Cantona , who lived on Vicars Hall gardens for a short period immediately after the famous 'Kung-Fu kick' incident at Selhurst Park.^{[citation needed]} (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_/ai_n13967238)

Paul Wall, social media savvy used-car salesman currently resides here.
