Rewrite[edit]

This article needs a rewrite. It is not coherently structured, but I am not certain how to fix it either. Anyone able to help?? --sunstar nettalk 00:38, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Made a start with the article, but needs someone with more local insight. Cayden (talk) 16:33, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that the external web site link (the freespace.virgin.net address) is now out of date. The Boothstown web site has been moved to a new server, and you can find the new version of the site at www.Boothstown.com - this site is being refreshed currently. This note posted by owner of www.Boothstown.com on 20 January 2010.

Notable people[edit]

Boothstown is also home to ex-Holby City star Ian Aspinall (character Mubbs Hussain) and Coronation Street's[1] Tyrone Dobbs[2] (Alan Halsall[3]). The Charlatans front man Tim Burgess [4]grew up on Linkfield Drive in Boothstown. Amongst previous residents is former Manchester United footballer Eric Cantona , who lived on Vicars Hall gardens for a short period immediately after the famous 'Kung-Fu kick' incident at Selhurst Park.[citation needed] (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_/ai_n13967238)

Paul Wall, social media savvy used-car salesman currently resides here. Big member on the Manchester Scene, he can often be found frequenting the shady back alley shops of Cheetham Hill and is on first name terms with employees of Long Legs — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.102.174.215 (talk) 21:11, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved this jumble here to see if anyone can find refs that refer to Boothstown so they can be added to the Notable People ibn Salford page.
