Third Border Initiative[edit]

What about the Third Border Initiative?
Awg1010 (talk) 18:40, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added it in a "See also" section. [[User:LonelyMarble|LonelyMarble] (talk) 22:52, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Russia[edit]

The Russian Federation and the United States are (or atleast were) connected by the Bering Strait, which is a thin strip of land that is frequently flooded, but still connects Alaska to Russia.--24.171.1.195 (talk) 23:15, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a "strip of land that is occasionally flooded", at least not on anything approaching human timescales. It's a sea strait that is occasionally frozen over. I don't think it counts as a border. Hut 8.5 23:28, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inland ports of entry[edit]

There is an oddball intersection that creates ports of entry far inland from the borders listed here and the federal government treats these ports of entry (either riverine ports or airports) as a border. This should probably be mentioned. You can get the official list of such ports here: https://www.cbp.gov/contact/ports TMLutas (talk) 16:45, 29 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
