I'm a press contact at no.wp (no:Wikipedia:Presse), and get some emails from readers due to this. One reader told me that this tunnel should be named Bortnetunnelen ("Bortne Tunnel"), not Vingetunnelen ("Vinge Tunnel").

The webpage vegvesen.no had no information to support this, but I wrote an email to Vegvesenet, region Vest, and got this answer from Mr H.E. Buene

[During the building period, we used the name "Vinge Tunnel". Because the tunnel went under Lake Vingevatnet and east of the mountain Vingekvarven. The name "Bortne Tunnel" was already in use by another, short tunnel west of Bortnen.
When the formal naming was to be decided, Bremanger municipality suggested that the old tunnel was renamed as "Holnes Tunnel", while the new tunnel between Sørdalen and Bortnen should be named "Bortne Tunnel". We agreed to that. However, the name "Vinge Tunnel" was used as a name for the whole project period until the tunnel opened.]

In light of this, I will move the article. Bw --Orland (talk) 17:31, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
