Spammy tone

[edit]

No wonder the tone is so promotional; it seems to have been started by a cut and paste (with permission) from their promotional website. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:15, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hardly. Are you talking about the first edits in 2005?--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:22, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"BYSO remains committed to artistic excellence, the heart of its programming." Spammy enough to serve with pineapple glaze and a maraschino cherry. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:57, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just saying, but it seems like the only people who actually did add stuff to this article ARE from BYSO (and therefore would stand to gain if the article read like a promo). I'm thinking this because 1) Nobody outside of the organization knows about the organization and would therefore be unlikely to see this article, much less read, care about, or know about the organization, 2) A majority of the contributors have "BYSO" in their usernames, and 3) Because BYSO has enough money to hire a bunch of bored teens from BU to make a buncha sockpuppets (unconfirmed, but they DO have enough money to hold competitions with rival groups about how many harps they can buy...BYSO got their 16th recently...)

But hey, I'm just a random BYSO member who didn't bother to make a Wikipedia account, so don't take my word for everything... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.49.26.69 (talk) 23:41, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
