Campus Lockdown Incident[edit]

On Thursday, February 16, 2017, Boswell was put into a Lockdown from 12:00 - 1:30 due to a Student bringing a gun onto the Campus and passing between several students in an attempt to keep it hidden from Administrators.

After having a report of a gun on campus, a Lockdown was put into place, While authorities searched the school for the weapon, only to find an unloaded Pellet gun.

In total, 4 students were taken by authorities after the incident, and were said to "be disciplined, later within the week". Longview1994 (talk) 16:59, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, incidents like this are not all that uncommon. Per the school article guidelines and NOTNEWS, we do not cover incidents in school articles unless they have received widespread (not just local) and enduring (lasting well beyond the time of the incident) coverage. The first part hasn't been shown and the second part is unknown. John from Idegon (talk) 18:22, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
