Linking[edit]

Apologies @Cobblet: my edit summary got chopped off, so I'll complete it here. There's no good reason not to link all instances of a name in a list like this. Without the links, the reader has to scroll up to some other unknown part of the page in the hope that they'll find a link. It's a poor user experience, so let's keep the links. I was struggling to see the premise of this question, as no other player has an article, but I suspect you give a higher weighting to consistency, so are suggesting either removing the red links, or adding red links to all other entries. I see neither as much of a priority, considering the other players are unlikely to get an article, and if an article is added, links can be added at the same time. My time on the article was spent trying to find, unsuccessfully, more recent winners. Greenman (talk) 10:25, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me your user experience rationale is applicable whether a player is bluelinked or redlinked, so I wasn't able to understand why you chose to do this for only one player. I also don't understand why you assume the redlinked players would be unlikely to get an article. It seems you're busy – perhaps you'll have time to reconsider someday.
