Article move

[edit]

I take it you moved Bowaradej to Boworadet because it's RTGS. Since it's a person's proper name, does conventional use--or the preference of the name's owner--factor in? Of the two spellings, Boworadet is less commonly used online, though not by much. I don't know what the Prince's preferred spelling was. --rikker (talk) 10:45, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting proposal

[edit]

I propose to split the biographical information about Prince Boworadet into a separate article. As the former Kalahom (Minister of War), one of the highest ranking ministers of the Kingdom of Siam, he is notable by himself, not just as the protagonist of this rebellion. Thus Boworadet should not be a mere redirect, but a separate biographic article. --RJFF (talk) 10:48, 23 June 2020 (UTC) P.S. Ping @Sodacan and Seligne: as main editors.[reply]

I don't see why not. If there's enough content, by all means split it. You ping didn't work, though. The edit in which the ping was made needs to include a new line and your signature for the ping to be triggered. Fixing ping to Sodacan and Seligne. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:59, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would support split. Sodacan (talk) 16:19, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. Seligne (talk) 00:18, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I support to split Boworadet article and support Seligne, RJFF and Sodacan to create Boworadet article. Encourage!! Ministerboy (talk) 01:36, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
