[edit]What's the frequency behavior of a box blur? A Gaussian blur has the interesting property that its frequency response is also Gaussian (i.e., the normal distribution is an eigenfunction of the Fourier transform, I believe). —Ben FrantzDale 16:54, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
