Naming[edit]

There is no mention anywhere in the citations that Boylston Street was named after Ward Nicholas Boylston. It seems more likely that it was named after his relative, Dr. Zabidiel Boylston. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.67.176 (talk) 13:17, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Street Ending[edit]

Boylston Street in Boston ends at a large intersection involving Park Dr., Brookline Ave., The Fenway, and slip roads which lead ultimately to the Jamaicaway. It does not continue south through Brookline - that is Brookline Ave. Brookline's Boylston begins where Washington St. - which is the direct continuation (albeit for a few blocks) of Huntington Ave in Boston. If anyone knows who Boylston Street was named for, this fact should be added.(69.245.52.93 (talk) 19:37, 5 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
