The two interior photos aren't displaying now - I'm not sure why. It is a pity as they were good --Alan 20:32, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They seem to be there now. ColinFine 22:25, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bishop's residence

[edit]

Measuring on a map, I get 2.4 miles (2.2 miles as the crow flies) from the Bishop's official residence to the Cathedral. 130.88.195.186 10:45, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It says approximately three miles, and it says city centre, so it's not necessarily inconsistent with your observation. But by all means change it if you think it will be improved. --ColinFine 20:12, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fake Picture

[edit]

Regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bradford_Cathedral.jpg#file

Doesn't seem very encyclopedic to me to have a photo that's clearly been faked. Look at the outline of the church - the building's been cut out and pasted into a picture with nicer weather. Sorry, I know it's a bit pants to complain about something rather than to fix it, but I have no idea how you get photos that it's legal to use, short of taking your own. I agree,
It's is pretty terrible. -- Q Chris (talk) 19:59, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could User:Andrewrabbott or some other interested person please go over to the page listed above and make the entry on Bradford Cathedral comply with the other entries, so that the list pertaining to this cathedral links to the cathedral's article.

NOTE: In the context of an article, you cannot link a heading, as I have done on this talk page, because it doesn't comply with the MOS. So what was done with the original entries was that every single cathedral had a short sentence, in which the name of the Cathedral is linked e.g. "Organists at Barchester Cathedral have included Septimus Harding." Monuments of interest

[edit]

I am surprised this section does not mention the linked monument, which I think is VERY interesting (in a disturbing kind of way, if you know the history).
